Where it is possible to download TLS 1.2 for Windows XP? Such updating for Windows XP Embedded exists?

On another thread FranceBB commented about One Core API to upgrade XP kernel, I tried it and no luck.

I tried to install One-Core-API-Binaries on existing windows XP but won't boot anymore.

Also tried shorthorn 3804 ISO but found out that chrome 69.0.3445.0 won't work, so basically right now there is no way to update XP kernel so it can run newer apps.

You must download and install the latest cumulative security update for Internet Explorer 8 and KB4019276 and KB4459091 for Windows Embedded POSReady 2009:

https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.co ... Ready+2009

Then you have to make the following registry entry and restart Windows XP to enable TLS 1.1 and TLS 1.2 in Internet Explorer 8:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Internet Explorer \ AdvancedOptions \ CRYPTO \ TLS1.2]
"OSVersion" = -

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Internet Explorer \ AdvancedOptions \ CRYPTO \ TLS1.1]
"OSVersion" = -

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Internet Settings]

"Secure Protocols" = dword: 00000a80

rasie1, I have established three updates and I have made the file with data for the register but IE8 and Google Chrome 49 didn't begin to open the websites on TLS 1.2

Hello Slavich, I am sorry that TLS 1.2 with my instructions still does not work for you. I assume that you have all the updates for Windows Embedded POSReady 2009 installed with the familiar registry hack on Windows XP SP3. I have tested it again with me and it works through this test page:

https://www.howsmyssl.com/

It may be that you also need to update the certificates. Heinoganda from the msfn forum has developed a certificate updater for Windows XP:

https://msfn.org/board/topic/175170-roo ... p/?page=20

However, even after that, not all pages work with Chrome or Internet Explorer. There seems to be a fundamental problem with the outdated kernel of Windows XP. If I'm using Windows XP, I'm using the Yandex Browser (Chrome 57) or the roytam1 basilisk browser from the msfn forum:

https://msfn.org/board/topic/177125-my- ... p/?page=71

There are no problems with the Basilisk Browser. He displays all pages, brings his own certificates and already supports TLS 1.3.

If you still have problems with Windows XP, have a look at these forums:

https://msfn.org/board/forum/34-windows-xp/

https://ryanvm.net/forum/viewforum.php? ... c1d4d9d072

Good luck
