Hello, to make the text look better you just need to change gamma parameter on skia, this is for version 80+
Depending on the version I had to do different tricks, for older versions you need to enable GDI because you won't find skia gamma, I don't remember how to enable GDI on older builds.

At this point you don't have many choices for XP, you won't find a browser that works fine with current web tecnology.

Yes, Custom build of advanced chrome 69 was based on chrome 48, 52, 58 and 69, as far as I remember V8 was 52 and other parts where 48 (sandbox) while it had some 58 and 69 patches, it was some kind of beast that I do not recommend using it any more.

Hello! google removed that flag time ago as far as I know, font rendering with advanced chrome is better than stock google chrome so you won't have any problem with it, Advanced Chrome font render is better than GDI, check the Chrome DirectWrite page:

Hello JiaoTongNan, I don't have the code of the GDI hack anymore, it was really easy because it was just a flag, a boolean, later it was impossible to restore GDI because google developers removed everything, we are talking about +10,000 lines of code they removed just to get rid of this.
