74 Overlay Scrollbars

Flag #overlay-scrollbars is one of my favorite hidden settings in Chromium as I've yet to find any CSS mods that do as nice a job at providing overlay scrollbars. Sadly I noticed it disappeared around v. 80ish. Is there any chance of restoring this flag when a successor release to Advanced Chrome 74...

Figured the component would update itself, kind of slipped my mind to try and manually force it from the components page. Thanks again. Suuuuper happy to have t...

It was at 4.10.1224.7, no...

Re: Widevine on 74 & 84

Yeah, I re-created the profile a few times just to ensure it wasn't a fluke error. This is the error I receive with 74 https://i.imgur.com/ROMSREb.png I can replicate this issue on two machines, each with fresh profiles on 7 x64. It was fine up until recently. Other Chromium forks don't present this...

(solved) Widevine on 74 & 84

I've been using the 84 build for some time, but only recently started using Netflix again. At the start of a video the windevine component is recognized and the content will play. But randomly it will lock me out, and Netflix will error out with M7701-1003. This is a clean profile, and I can confirm...

Re: 74 on Windows 7 Outdated Widevine

Hi there. Thanks for the response.
As it turned out It was just a corrupt profile on my end. Everything is working great here now.

(solved) 74 on Windows 7 Outdated Widevine

Up until a few weeks ago, I was able to playback protected content on Prime and Netflix. But lately I've been getting messages that the browser is outdated or that the plugin necessary is out of date. I tried manually updating Widevine via chrome://components/ without success. Could this plugin be m...

Best of luck with the project. Will it include Google sync keys also?

Re: Is there a way to port the old non-material design to newer versions of Chrome?

@DoaJC_Blogger Very nice. Have you considered setting up a weblog or git to document releases/changes? I'm sure others would appreciate your fork. Maybe some of these revisions could even land in Advanced Chrome? Since you built off Chromium 76, I do have one suggestion: Enable #extensions-toolbar-m...

Re: Maxthon Browser for XP

Maxthon is rather neat. Honestly though, I just don't see the appeal in using XP anymore. I was cool with it up til about a year ago, but after that it just started to fall apart. When you have to sacrifice on a web browser, which is nearly an OS in and of itself nowdays, the whole prospect just fee...

Re: Chromium version (latest build)

Yeah, the interface certainly plummeted in quality after v69. I think the flags to revert it were removed in 70/71? I was rotating between Slimjet and Cent Browser at the time. Each of them addressed the UI to a certain extent, SJ more so imo. But that browser just felt too ad-ish. I also found it a...

Chromium version (latest build)

I'm rather curious about something. What release channel does Advanced Chrome follow? I was skimming through update history on the homepage: 65 -> 69 and then straight to 74, which comes from developer channel afaik. Chrome 69 didn't land in stable channel til September last year iirc, Advanced Chro...
