Re: TLS 1.2 for Windows XP
Hello Slavich, I am sorry that TLS 1.2 with my instructions still does not work for you. I assume that you have all the updates for Windows Embedded POSReady 2009 installed with the familiar registry hack on Windows XP SP3. I have tested it again with me and it works through this test page: https://...

Re: Custom Build is a rocket
I use Acronis True Image only as a backup software, recently also Macrium Reflect Free. I did the alignment offline with Partitions Wizard Home Edition by moving the starting point of the first partition (C) to the first physical sector 2048. The hard drive is a Samsung HD103SI.

@FranceBB:
Did you use the Maxthon Browser already?
In my experience, Maxthon is currently the most advanced and best-working browser for Windows XP. It is based on the core of Chromium 61. There is hope that Maxthon will continue to support XP with newer versions.

@calibermix: "it's not a 4K sectors HDD so you don't need to do the alignment process at all." I used to have a lot of trouble creating and restoring backups with Acronis True Image. I thought it might have something to do with alignment. So I did the alignment. It can not be a disadvantage. And act...

Hello admin,
At https://xlab.tencent.com/special/spectr ... check.html there is an online test to check if browsers are prone to Spectre Bug.
I tested your custom build there in unmodified configuration and it is not vulnerable.

Re: Custom Build is a rocket
Hello admin, After a lot of testing, I found that some of the videos in Advanced Chrome's "pepflashplayer.dll (21.0.0.213)" as well as the latest "pepflashplayer.dll (28.0.0.137)" are not playing (no crashes). I found a solution to that effect by simply deleting the files "manifest.json" and "pepfla...
