Chrome.dll targeted by anti-virus

Post by ARSManiac » Sat May 04, 2019 1:44 pm

I use Advanced Chrome custom build on Windows XP, but now suddently my anti-virus (AVG) move Chrome.dll to quarantine saying that has a virus!
Someone else has the same problem?

Hello, check this thread:
viewtopic.php?f=5&t=2729

You can submit chrome.dll of 54.20.6530.0 to AVG so they can review the file, this must be done for about 16 antivirus engines that flag chrome.dll as a "Trojan.Win32.Enfal"
https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/a35 ... /detection

This does not happen with 74.0.3860.0 or any build higher than 60

------------------------------------
Avast: False positive file chrome.dll [ ref:_00Db0Z3Sf._5000N1l10Xi:ref ]

I think they solved the problem! My Advanced Chrome (Chrome.ddl file) is no longer targeted by my anti-virus (AVG).
Thanks for all the support :)
