installing custom build on a populated XP
Posted: Tue May 29, 2018 1:51 am
Hi there!
first of all I want to thank you for this great piece of software
that is helping a lot of XP users left out in the cold
by Google, Microsoft and (soon) Mozilla...
I really hope you will keep on developing the custom build
to support old netbooks and similar hardware! (please do!
)
I need to install the Custom Build on a populated XP computer
that already has a few other (old) browsers installed...
In particular there is Firefox (latest 52.8.0, slooooow! barely usable),
Chrome (official Google one) version 49.0.2623.112 m (last one compatible with XP),
Pale Moon 25.8.1 (old one, one of the last ones optimized for Intel Atom cpus)
and, of course, Internet Explorer...
if I install Advanced Chrome (custom build)
will it overwrite/clash with any of these browsers? (with their settings/bookmarks?)
or will it work nicely alongside? (even alongside official Chrome?)
thank you!
Luca
