Hi,
any idea how to set 69.0.3445.0 as default in Win10? Clicking 'Make default' in settings doesn't work and it opens Win 10's Default apps where Advanced Chrome isn't listed as one of the browsers (nor there is an option to add it manually).
I'm running Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 1809 with latest patches and like your custom version a lot. Wish you'd update it at least 3 times a year. Btw, when's the next update coming from your end?
Thanks, L
Can't set default in Win10
Re: Can't set default in Win10
Already have a 72x version but did not like the new tabs they developed.
I was working on improving the shape of the new tabs, later will post the link here on the forum to get some feedback.
I use windows 7 and making chrome default browser was easy, but had some problems that I fixed using the attached registry file.
Actually the problem is the way chromium creates all the windows registry keys, I don't know how to fix them, maybe I will have to try windows 10 on a sandbox and try what you are doing, maybe I can come up with a registry fix or fix chromium internally.
