Up until a few weeks ago, I was able to playback protected content on Prime and Netflix. But lately I've been getting messages that the browser is outdated or that the plugin necessary is out of date. I tried manually updating Widevine via chrome://components/ without success.
Could this plugin be manually injected into this particular build? Or are there plans to move to a newer build in the near future?

Hello thanks for reporting the issue, here NETFLIX is playing fine, component section says:
Widevine Content Decryption Module - Version: 4.10.1440.18
So it is the same as yours, I wonder what the problem is.
About next update I am waiting for google developers to fix some bugs, there are some nasty ones and thats why I haven't released a new update, already have some 80.x build somewhere but is buggy thanks to google.
Hopefully they will fix their mess soon so I can release a new version.

Regarding next update will check if they fixed all the bugs and will try to create the new build to check if it's worth or not, they are supposed to add a new feature to group tabs so it is looking good.
